Our only hope is for Americans to collectively move but withhold our forwarding address from Trump.
Ah man you lost me at Michael Moore. Can't stand that hypocrite.

Keep in mind, destabilizing the presidency, destabilizes America.
Oh wait! That's the goal of the Socialists.

Yes. The word for it is: it's Unamerican.

Freedom is expressed in the wish to own more guns and have less insurance or doing without any. Freedom is all about striking down regulatory measures to ease corporate penetration pretty much like vaseline does: kneel and take it.

You've got a weird sense of freedom Canuck if that's the definition you use.

I liked Michael Moore in his fist movie taking on GM. I was turned off by a more recent movie of Moore's in which he found it necessary to insult dementia ridden Charlton Heston. A couple of years ago, Moore was estimated to be worth about $50M for his efforts. [[Power to the people!)

Why take shots at Americans? Democrats don't support single payer plans either. Otherwise blue states would have legislated their own single payer plans and Obamacare bureaucrats wouldn't have shot down Vermont's proposed single payer plan. Over 50% of US gun homicides are in 2% of US counties so you are probably inadvertently criticizing certain US demographics which could be a 'hate crime' in Canada. In the US, we are instead lucky enough to have guaranteed free speech and freedom of the press. The advantage of allowing people to say ugly things is that sometimes problems can be worked out instead of being driven underground if we are aware of where others are coming from.

His take on reality ignores contributing factors that play a role in decision making to conveniently demonize his subject matter, Like GM or the healthcare industry. That is why his movies are not documentaries but instead socialist propaganda. Hypocrite because of the money he makes from the objects he criticizes. IMHO.

I get it. Making money from painting an unholy portrait is hypocritical. Is Michael Moore shooting commercials for the car or health industry or is he not doing a simple job of expressing his OHO about such. If he is making money, he must have people opening up to his work and message. Money only gives him more of a structure to keep plugging at subjects he wants to focus on in the future like GM does when designing prototypes.

Why would.a socialist not be allowed to make money? A true socialist will be more willing to part with some of it so more people benefit from his and others' collective wealth.

Both you and Oladub are finding fault with Michael Moore for the
simple fact that he has made millions like Trump or Putin did. Putin headed the KGB in the last days of Soviet Russia and now he is all gung ho for the capitalist agenda. Where does it say Moore is to throw up anytime he is handed a bag of money? He has made a point of comparing the merits of socialized systems in other wealthy capitalist countries with the US. He probably shares the values of company heads in France, Sweden and Italy and wishes US citizens were better served by their legislatures. I do.

I have to laugh at California, because there was actually a Single Payer healthcare bill that passed the State House and the head of the State Assembly [[Anthony Rendon) has basically killed it, despite overwhelming support by Californians.

    But...but...PURITY TEST!

    And...and...RUSSIA!

    Uh...RESISTANCE!

If a blue state is sincere about having a single payer plan, it could just adopt a Canadian provincial plan changing the names and places. 90% of the work has already been done. The lawyers, bureaucrats, insurance and px profits would mostly be gone and 40% of health care costs would be gone. It would be a societally affordable solution. This could be done in any blue state with a Governor's signature within two months. My guess is that Democratic politicians do not want to offend their contributors more than Republicans do.

'Covfefe' tells you all you need to know about Donald Trump

Then Spicer compounded the mystery with: "The president and a small group of people know exactly what he meant."

Here's my theory: some unknown prankster [[Melania, were you there?) asked Trump if he could use the word "covfefe" in a sentence. Trump, being Trump, couldn't resist the challenge and the rest is history.

I am thinking he has a Iphone and it just inserted or changed the words to what it feels like much like mine,he was tired and did not check every word and sent it,of course it is funny about people freak out over a misspelled word like it is a nuclear attack or something.

Did not CNN fire somebody today ? I am surprised that they even have limits above a 6 year old at times.

Trump has a dangerous disability - George F. Will interview MSNBC

George Will's quiet renunciation of his long-time Republican Party membership was a tipping point.

He now recommends that the public actively "quarantine this presidency."

Lol, he is quite the funny,it is a shame that what used to be media that you could count on parade a daily dose of comedy,Wapo has dropped down to the level of a supermarket tabloid that nobody really reads any more.

I was watching CBSN on ROKU today and the commentator got pissed off because thier inhouse guy said that the Paris agreement was probably not in the best interest of this country, she or whoever killed his live feed.

I guess there will be no check in the mail for that one.

Politics in general is getting pretty old. Same scenario when Obama was in office. Instead of trying to get something done, both sides sat down, dug their heels in, started name calling, and, like packs of monkeys, flinging poop @ each other. What are we paying these guys for?

    Is sanity contagious?:

Joe Scarborough Explains Why He's Done With The GOP.
And you have to ask yourself: What exactly is the Republican Party willing to do? How far are they willing to go? How much of this country and our values are they willing to sell out?...

I am a Republican but I'm not going to be a Republican anymore. [applause]

Default Naomi Klein: How to Resist Trump's Shock Doctrine

Shock. It’s a word that has come up a lot since November— for obvious reasons.

I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about shock. Ten years ago, I published “The Shock Doctrine,” an investigation that spanned four decades from Pinochet’s U.S.-backed coup in 1970s Chile to Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

I noticed a brutal and recurring tactic by right wing governments. After a shocking event – a war, coup, terrorist attack, market crash or natural disaster – exploit the public’s disorientation. Suspend democracy. Push through radical “free market” policies that enrich the 1 percent at the expense of the poor and middle class.

The Trump administration is creating chaos. Daily. Of course many of the scandals are the result of the president’s ignorance and blunders – not some nefarious strategy.

But there is also no doubt that some savvy people around Trump are using the daily shocks as cover to advance wildly pro-corporate policies that bear little resemblance to what Trump pledged on the campaign trail.

And the worst part? This is likely just the warm up.

We need to focus on what this Administration will do when it has a major external shock to exploit.

    Here's a 5-step plan.

I really do not think it is president Trump at all,I think that when she lost, they kidnapped him and what we are seeing is a imposter put in place to destroy and destabilize the Republican Party.

Seems plausible enough when all you really have to do is print something and people believe it.

The whole media aspect of things like what was discussed in a phone conversation between your president Trump and the queen of England.

Does the media have direct access to CIA listening posts or is the CIA in collusion with the media to overthrow the US government and take control, while playing some like a deck of cards.

There was collusion with Russia,we have not heard the results of the investigation yet and really have no proof, but I do not like the guy so it must be true because WAPO said it was.

The media now has American blood on thier hands and now that they tasted it they want more and they will not be happy until the ratings improve and bring more clicks to what was a rapidly declining death spiral of thier own.
