That was worth it if only for the audience's spontaneous laughter at Pence's first mention of "Space Force."

When you look at a 9 billion dollar shortfall because some believe that electricity is a right sooner or later the chickens come home to roost.

So now you get to pay the bill, how do you like those cookies Bham, give me your address so I can send my power bill to you so you can pay for it.

That is like having a rusted out, rolled over 6 times Ford pinto in your back yard for 10 years and expecting the government to buy you a new one when a hail storm comes through.

That is the history over there which is why everybody that could, left years ago, leaving thier elderly parents there.

Picture how Detroit was during the Kirkpatrick years and multiply that towards the whole island,it is one big mafia style government controlled country.

Nothing moves or gets done without grease first and everybody down the line wants thier taste.

Stuck in the middle of all of it are some really decent people that just gave up on thier country in self preservation.

There were still 1.5 million without power from the previous hurricane before that one hit.

The bright side over there is when you pay off your property, you no longer had to pay property taxes, and you can have a beachside hut for free.

It seems to be a common theme, really beautiful island countries but they suck to live there,Bahamas is going down also.

The governments take until the residents do not have anything to give anymore and they live in poverty while the politicals eat like fat cats with maids, drivers and offshore accounts.

Thier entire electric grid system including the power generation plants need to be rebuilt ground up and the hard decisions need to be made as to running power lines costing millions through mountains providing power to 20 people,I think that in order to survive they are going to have to go the route that Sweden,Italy and Spain went, move everybody from rural to the cities and not provide utilities outside of the centers.

    Rual living is off grid.

I get your point, but if this happened in MI, you'd be all over Snyder for letting these shipping crates sit undistributed @ Detroit Harbor Terminal. Because it's in Puerto Rico, now it's "The Man's" fault for letting this happen. @ what point do you think people should start taking some responsibility for themselves? "We need, we need", Ok, here you go.... Still not enough.

Donald J. Trump, twitter quote on his recently fired staffer Omarosa:
When you give a crazed, crying lowlife a break, and give her a job at the White House, I guess it just didn’t work out. Good work by General Kelly for quickly firing that dog!
Would the word unhinged come to mind? After multiple tweet-storms unleashed by Trump over the past few days, it's becoming clear that the heat is getting to the commander-in-chief. There seems to be nobody he won't aggress, and his rhetoric has taken on a heightened deragatory tone. Evidenced here by his clear intent to defamate his 4-time employee, Trump has reached new lows in his [[all-to-often) poorly worded hit job. What's so transparent is the fact that this outburst of lowly proportions is simply a sad defense mechanism in repsonse to Omarosa releasing her tell-all book about life in the white house under DJT. What does it say about the frame of our president, when he cannot control his temper, and embarassingly lashes out at his detractors like a petulant child. Mind you, this is but the tip of the iceberg. As the pot ever closes in on a full boil, we'll see the quantity and tone of his tweets escalate. Popcorn please!

Meanwhile, Paul Manafort's trial is windng down, and it looks like playing with "house-money" only served to delay the inevitable. The prosecution is anticipating a clear win that would send Manafort to jail for the remainder of his life. He's left with one option, and it's the option that Special Counsel Robert Mueller was angling the entire time. Expect Manafort to take a deal, and by doing so, cooperate with the investigation. Any shady dealings that Manafort is privy to regarding the Trump 2016 campaign will now be on the table. Whether he has what is needed or not, remains to be seen. I do expect Manafort to be a cornerstone in whatever case the Special Cousel will be able to muster against the Trump team.

Personally, I don't think Mueller has any interest in turning the Trump children, as they are equally complicit in the accusation of working together with the Russians to subvert the 2016 election. I would be elated to see them face the music, right alongside their troubled father.

Here's who has been indicted so far:
    1) George Papadopoulos, former Trump campaign foreign policy adviser, pleaded guilty in October to making false statements to the FBI.
    2) Michael Flynn, Trump’s former national security adviser, pleaded guilty in December to making false statements to the FBI.
    3) Paul Manafort, Trump’s former campaign chair, was indicted in October in Washington, DC on charges of conspiracy, money laundering, and false statements — all related to his work for Ukrainian politicians before he joined the Trump campaign. He’s pleaded not guilty on all counts. Then, in February, Mueller filed a new case against him in Virginia, with tax, financial, and bank fraud charges.
    4) Rick Gates, a former Trump campaign aide and Manafort’s longtime junior business partner, was indicted on similar charges to Manafort. But in February he agreed to a plea deal with Mueller’s team, pleading guilty to just one false statements charge and one conspiracy charge.
5-20) 13 Russian nationals and three Russian companies were indicted on conspiracy charges, with some also being accused of identity theft. The charges related to a Russian propaganda effort designed to interfere with the 2016 campaign. The companies involved are the Internet Research Agency, often described as a “Russian troll farm,” and two other companies that helped finance it. The Russian nationals indicted include 12 of the agency’s employees and its alleged financier, Yevgeny Prigozhin.
    21) Richard Pinedo: This California man pleaded guilty to an identity theft charge in connection with the Russian indictments, and has agreed to cooperate with Mueller.
    22) Alex van der Zwaan: This London lawyer pleaded guilty to making false statements to the FBI about his contacts with Rick Gates and another unnamed person based in Ukraine.
    23) Konstantin Kilimnik: This longtime business associate of Manafort and Gates, who’s currently based in Russia, was charged alongside Manafort with attempting to obstruct justice by tampering with witnesses in Manafort’s pending case this year.
24-35) 12 Russian GRU officers: These officers of Russia’s military intelligence service were charged with crimes related to the hacking and leaking of leading Democrats’ emails in 2016.

35 indictments of individuals whom all had connections with the Trump campaign. You don't need a compass to connect the dots of where this is going. Furthermore, if you can not deduce that the noose is tightening around anyone and everyone associated with his campaign, it's time to put the kool-aid down and reassess your bias.

Winter's coming for Donald Trump. It will not be kind. With only the likes of Rudy "Space Cadet" Giuliani standing by him, Trump will find himself in a very lonely corner as public trust in him erodes each and every day forward.

Thanks for voting for him though. The country needed a serious wake up call. We've been teetering on the brink of failure when it comes to civilty and culture as a country the past 30+ years. It's time to restore our honor, justice and our pride.

Did you ever wonder what it would be like if the same leval of scrutiny was applied to the hilliary camp or the Obama camp or the bush camp?

Check out where they are all at now, leading positions in healthcare, defense industry,Wall Street, high level banking, insurance industry and so on.

Shocked that the same people that were in office kicking people out of houses, bailing out banks and making sweetheart deals across the board are the same ones heading up the same exact business that they helped in office.

It is no secret and easily searched, anybody that is involved in politics is shady because there is money in it and lots of it.

Money and power is not a newly formed anti Trump concept.

So why all the oooo and ahhhh over something that has been going on for centuries and is common knowledge?

China has technology and missle launch systems in space that could wipe us out and at this time there is not one thing we can do to stop it.

Trump wants to put a system in place to stop that and everybody thinks it is a joke, how about walking out your front door and poof you are gone with no warning, just maybe you will be able to get a last laugh in.

Maybe you're right. What was Trump thinking? Unlike Omarosa, dogs are loyal.

There are very good odds the next election will be Pence vs. whomever on the Dem side. In just a year and a half in the White House, he's already ensnared in an criminal investigation that makes Watergate look like nothing, and Mueller's endgame is clear.

Trump probably won't finish his term. He'll resign, die, or be removed by Congress. If alive he'll end up in federal prison or an Alex Jones-style "media" recluse in his last years. His cultists won't abandon him, ever, though. They'll still think he's Orange Jesus long after he destroyed their childrens/grandchildrens future.

No, because they received far more scrutiny, and are basically clean, decent, noncorrupt folks, not lifelong grifters/con-artists like Trump.

And whataboutism is for desperate Kremlin trolls, not rational people. None of these people are President.

I could certainly see him succumb to stress related heart failure and/or stroke. It happened to one of those Enron execs after he was thrown in jail; Jeff Skilling I think?

Trump's moxie reminds me of Kwame in a lot of ways. This perception that they are above the law, and can blatently skirt the law and do whatever they feel, and still get away with everything. Look what happened to Kwame though.

Response speaks volumes towards culpability. If Trump feels so aggrieved and slandered, his attitude should be tempered, showcasing a bit more 'altitude' and alot less ATTITUDE. Let the attorney's, Omarosa and her publisher duke it out in the muck, fray and media.

The stupid name calling etc. does not help his defense and makes him seem as petty and he claims she is.

Omarosa's not getting a glowing 'welcome parade' either. Many see her as an opportunist who was fine with Trump as it served her. Nothing surprising here, really - and while those who want Trump out may be happy, they're not running out to get that book.

The news reports will suffice. Bye Felicia!

It's all rather bi-partisan tiresome -- the unyielding self-serving nature of folks, withstanding claimed loyalties! Turning their backs, and or back-stabbing in the dark or broad daylight! It's a rather old story actually.

So all one needs to do is prove that he broke the law, right after they prove the whole Russian collusion thing.

Don't worry, Mueller is on the case, and indictments are raining down. It's coming.

There is a saying that a gran jury can indict a peanut butter sandwich.

Which is all you have so far, there is no legal standing for collusion, the currant one is on the first trial for something he did unrelated and prior to the campaign, his next trial in Washington is based on something that nobody has ever been tried for in the history of the country,so it is based on a straw wish and odds are the charge will not even go anywhere at trial.

In the meantime the only thing that has been accomplished is millions have been spent and the hopes and dreams of some to unseat the current president have centered around a circle jerk with a washed up porn star.

He is playing you like a deck of cards with rhetoric while still accomplishing what needs to be done, watch what my left hand is doing so you do not see what my right hand is doing.

But proof is coming on Monday, hold your breath.

You should probably take your alleged legal expertise to the Department of Justice and FBI, where hundreds of lawyers have already procured multiple guilty pleas, prison sentences and dozens of indictments in a span of only 14 months, faster than any such investigation in modern history.

Revoking security clearance without cause is a net loss of national security.
