Default As Memorial Day approaches, let's take a moment to remember.

"People everywhere just want to be free..." There were six of them at the campfire, drinking beer and singing a Young Rascals song. Young and strong, they thought they would never get old. One did not, and his name is inscribed on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. RIP: C. K., KIA 1-31-68

Not much response, yet. I also remember that during the Arab-Israeli war, 31 sailors were killed and 141 injured when Israel attacked the USS Liberty as it sat in international waters. It is notable that the New York Times buried their news item about the attack on page 19, the next day. Again, RIP to all fallen vets.
