The Grind Strip Club

Quick question about the Grind Strip Club for those old enough to recall: I seem to recall that they tried to expand in the first decade of this century, into the site south of their building - do I have that right? Its my recollection that they were calling it a renovation by leaving up an old wall, but when that wall fell down they wouldve needed approval for a new build, which they couldnt get in the CBD, so that put the kabash on things. A fire followed some years after, and then Gilbert acquired and developed the site.
