That's one of the cheap stores that Macomb Mall has that don't attract the wrong crowds. Eastland has a greater potential to be a great neighborhood mall catering to Grosse Pointes, St Clair Shores, Harper Woods, Warren and possibly Sterling Heights. Northland was an island to itself set off by itself. Eastland is surrounded by three cities. The owner has no interest in revitalizing Eastland for as I had said he probably has an agenda. Macys, Burlington Coat Factory, Target, could be free standing structures while the rest of the mall is razed. I remember when Circuit City, Home Depot, and Lowes were added to the mall area. Circuit City had went out of business leaving a junk store to move in that spot.

Circuit City had closed the Eastland location before going out of business.

Circuit City was closing some of it's locations and the Eastland location was on it's list to close first

Home Depot had razed a section of Eastland Village that was near Kelly in order to build it's store

Macy's released their list of closures and no stores in Michigan are affected. Eastland survives.
