While looking through an old thread from 2008, I happened on a picture of a gas station in Delray. I had recently taken my 92 year-old mom down there to say 'goodbye' to the streets that she lived on, from the early 1920s until WWII.

I was flabbergasted as to how she made vacant, weedy lots come alive with descriptions of what was where. She went on for awhile about a handsome young man that owned a Sunoco on Jefferson in the 1930s. Apparently, hamtownkingpin and Edziu are related to this person but no longer post here. I'm hoping one or both have simply switched usernames.

I'm viewing this on a dumbed-down mobile format, so I'm not sure if I can email or send a private message.

Thank you.
