I enjoy seeing the diversity and crowded appearance at the Detroit Whole Foods. However, when I remind myself that it is 1/3 the size of other locations, I wonder how busy it would look otherwise. When I think about the subsidized aspect of it, I wonder how profitable it really is as well.
