Default Windsor civic leaders see first hand downtown Detroit's revitalization

Sure there are homeless and addicts in downtown Windsor but do people really feel unsafe? How many thefts, assaults, etc. are occurring? Then again, I've never felt unsafe in downtown Detroit going back to the '70's.

SOME CITY OFFICIALS SEE FIRST HAND DOWNTOWN DETROIT'S REVITALIZATION

You have to see the irony in that

Might as well say - City officials are so disconnected with what is going on,that they had to get out and walk to see it in real life.

    You all know this means.

It's time for the People of Windsor to catch up with the regional development or get left behind and watch Detroit skyline glows in the dark lighting your skyline.

Schengen-style treaty with Canada to allow unhindered travel!

If the citizens of France and Germany, who slaughtered millions of each other's youth in the last century, can travel freely between those countries, certainly such a treaty can work between the US and Canada who have been at peace for 208 years.

This would be a huge economic boost to both Detroit and Windsor, positively impact our currently dead ended downtowns, and make such things as ferries and even cable cars economically viable.

It would also move the U.S. immigration problem to Canada as the U.S. states dropped everybody off along the northern border.
