Surely she has enough money to pay someone to add content to the site and make sure that it makes sense. If not, why even bother with the site to begin with? Her site is a glaring example of why she shouldn't be on the council. It's completely half-assed and nonsensical - much like her first term as councilperson.
That's a major no-no in web design, to publish with content. A jpg billboard is much better.

But she probably hasn't even seen it. Her webmaster should be fired.

The Detroit News just released their Charter endorsements, and DYes's own Andy Linn is included!

    Congratulations to everyone.

She never dated Gil Hill. Give me a break. She was close friends with Christine but when the friendship ended when Christine supported KK. They all went to Cass Tech together. Saunteel has my vote.

Charles Pugh, John Bennett, Gary Brown, Jai-Lee Dearing, Kwame Kenyatta, Fred Elliott Hall, Ken Donaldson, Karinda Washington, Sheila Jackson, Saunteel Jenkins, Raphael Johnson, Council president Ken Cockrel Jr., Council member Brenda Jones, Dalton Roberson, Jr., Rev. André L. Spivey, Council member Alberta Tinsley-Talabi, James Tate, and Council member JoAnn Watson.

This is ridiculious, these fools have endorsed all the incumbents except Martha Reeves.

Although Detroit is known as the "Murder City" WE DON"T NEED A MURDERER IN PUBLIC OFFICE!!! There are a lot of ways Raphael Johnson can help make the city better. Public Office IS NOT one of those ways.

I went to Renaissance with Tonya. She's a good, ethical person who would do right by the city. She ran for the Board of Education in 2005 and has received the Detroit News endorsements.

Gee, now I know why I'm involved in small town politics. My council seat it up for election. Running unopposed, I am.......

Danny, FYI, Council by Districts is not on the ballot in this election. If the referendum succeeds, it will be on the ballot in the November election. The deadline for the referendum's petitions to be submitted is Wednesday.

I believe you are thinking of the Charter Commission primary, which IS taking place tomorrow. Win with Linn!

Council by districts is a evil ward system. If it happens the each councilman and woman will oversee each Detroit ghettohood creating a its own strong central governmental power then the people. Everyone in Detroit must vote NO on this proposal.

Not knowing your 'small town', I would venture a guess and say you didn't have any hot-button issues this past year. Had there been, the candidates would have come out of the woodwork. ;-)
