I come to sites like this for ruin porn, not this trike porn! And I guess we got bored talking about Kid Rock, huh? I like the trikes with the 2 wheels in the front. They're safer.

KJ5 your answer falls into the "what are you talking about category". And 'NO' the reverse Trike [[or Spyder) you mention is"NOT' safer that the ones shown. They are sportier yes, but are not well suited for long distance travel [[i.e. seat and sitting position) they are underpowered and have had a history of various mechanical issues.

They are just designed for a different riding style and rider. Kind of like the difference between a crotch rocket and a touring bike like the Goldwing 1800.

You mentioned Roush as in Roush racing ? Are they showing any interest ? I know they modify Mustangs . If I were a bike fan and at my age and the shape my knee's etc. are in , this would be perfect for me . If you get Roush's attention , I'm sure they could point you in the right direction as who's best to promote your product whether it be Kid Rock or not .

The BOSS HOSS dealer closed up 94 and 9 mile.
    They had nice trikes.
What makes you think there is a market here .

Yes Roush is on board to design and engineer the newTrike kit for me. I just need a little more investment capital for the actualPrototype to be built up on a new GL1800 and I'm hoping to entice someone whois a well known Detroiter to help us promote this.......................

Black Gold Man.......... the type of Trike kits we have been installing and now hopefully will manufacturer right here in Detroit are popular the world over. A lot of different motorcycles can be converted into full blown three wheelers at a price that is affordable, Harleys, Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki & BMW.
In most cases long time bikers [[some with bad knees, backs etc.) who desire to continue to ride with safety, stability [[i.e. can't fall down anymore) and the relief from stress on wet roads and heavy traffic go to our type of Trike conversion. Also ......and this is key lady riders can actually ride the larger bikes like Goldwings and Ultra Classic's because you don't have to hold a Trike up or put your feet down.
People who never rode before can join the fun and get a CY endorsement on their Trike. I was never a biker but 11 years ago I joined a large Christian biker group, built myself a Trike on a 2003 Yellow GL 1800 and then because I had been a car guy with years of mechanical background decided to go in the business of becoming an installer for the major U.S. manufacturers of Trike kits.
I have never ridden a two-wheeler but have over 200,000 miles on my Trikes and have ridden in all 48 states and Canada. And there is nothing more fun than toolin' around town or seeing the country on a Bike/Trike. gary

Well, then my question is why would you want Robert involved?

Do you really think him waving a traitorous, racist confederate flag and represents the area in such a negative way is going to be a positive for you? He makes us all look like we're proud, white trash -- and nothing is further from the truth. Are you a proud, racist, white trash person?

I will assure you that if your product becomes associated with Robert, your product will be associated with shit you don't wanna be involved with.

I suggest that if your product is really a winner, you don't need a D-Bag whose on the cusp of the downside of his career as an investor.

Robert is all about the money; his last name is Richie, after all. Richie Rich. And he only gives a shit about Detroit when that money can buy him some "good guy capital" so folks like you think he's cool, something to be associated with and so that you'll over look the trash he facilitates.

I'm sure he's the bees knees and so kind to butterflies in person; however, if this DB can't see the damage he's doing by perpetuating the negative stereotype of folks around here, then he's not worth interacting or being associated with.

Personally, I think a name more fitting for him should be "Leather-Face Rock". Or perhaps, "Rode Hard and Put Up Wet Rock" . . . .

I've never met the man or know of the things you're speaking of. So I can't judge. I'm certainly not a racist you'll have to believe on that point. MY goal is to get this motorcycle trike project off the ground and put another feather in Detroit's Comeback Cap!! What does Detroit need a lot of? Jobs? Self Esteem? A feeling that we're a world class city again? Yes, Yes & Yes. I need help I'm not rich nor famous. I would welcome any and all help from every Detroiter who would offer it. I love this city I grew up here. At least I'm trying to do something..............

I've never ridden a trike but I've been lead to believe that it's more difficult to roll a reverse trike than a traditional, 2 wheels in the back trike. Quickly googling this confirmed it. Do you have an argument to the contrary?

My first question would be what info came up when you googled it? Next I have been around Trikes now since January 2003, first as a new rider, then as an installer. To now on the verge of creating a new Trike kit manufacturing company. Yours is a great question and deserves good solid answers. I hope what I'm going to suggest is ok ................ visit my Trike Forum and I will post a new thread "How safe in cornering are traditional Trikes and how safe are Spyders or "Reverse Trikes?" Google "Americas Trike Forum" let's see what others say from their experience. gary

Trikes, never mind the nay-sayers around these parts. The mere mention of Ritchie is more than enough to bring out them hatesters. But whatever, good business advice never hurt anyone, so.... you'd have to go thru to many steeples to get in touch with that local celebrity known as "kid rock". In other words, if you don't have any contacts, then you're pretty much like a dog barking up the wrong tree. Said previously, Kid is on the low swing of his career. In fact, he is going to go back to his signature hip-hop/sreet-rap thing probably not too very distant into the future. In short - he don't need you and would have absolutely no incentive to get involved with being a spokesman for a bike-builder, such as you are. You might stand a better chance at trying to get in touch with Marshal Mathers, who live's local, has exhibited a very good business model, has a proven track-record or promoting things that are cool. Unfortunately, I have no contact info other than the fact that him and Kim just got back together, so maybe with some clever public records searches, you might be able to find a link. Good luck!

Well I'm sure you know the importance of having a well-known "Detroiter" as a spokesman for a boost into the public eye. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The best way now a days to come in contact in my opinion would be go on his cruise. He go's around the ship and greets some fans.He did say that he doesn't like taking pictures anymore on Howard Stern.Just like I said don't be aggressive around him,Dont act like you just saw god.He dont like that it makes him nervous. Wouldn't it you? So good luck and remember if you need me I will be KID ROCK'N UP AND DOWN THE BLOCK...... 22815453_10155618947895049_7329778770042149888_n.j pgz.jpg [[179.3 KB)

Short answer is you aren't going to get in touch with him. Like any celebrity he probably gets an endless stream of "asks" from random strangers. "Help with my charity function!" "Get involved with this project!" "Lend your name to this amazing thing I'm doing!" "Donate money to this nonprofit I just started!" You are just one in a sea of fans who are asking for his time, money, or attention.

Or maybe the "Dude" is really Robert Richie responding to old random posts about himself.
