    I don't think Detroit is a good fit with Frank Gehry. There is an antiseptic look about his work that doesn't look gritty and industrial. Detroit's architecture shouldn't be overly clean or pretty. Just my opinion. As for the rendering above, I can't focus enough to really see what is showing. I'll wait for standard blueprints.

    Not quite that nice. It is crap. I like Frank Gehry for pushing envelopes but this is just weird angles, bad colors, and a straight street.

    frank gehry is so over, and for that matter, so is zaha hadid. bjarke ingels is the go to starchitect darling these daze...jeez ppl

    Uggg.... I had to Google Zahya.... she's some British Dame.... no I mean she's the female equivalent of being knighted by the queen type "Dame"....

    Her major contribution to Michigan?? [[It looks so complementary to the classic building next door... )

    Zaha is iraqi born and bred. She is the first female to win the prestigious pritzker award for architecture. MSU is very proud to have one of her designs.
