How is an insulated, auto-centric, suburban-style development considered to be "urban focused?"

NO WAY, Detroit already has a African American Museum and a Africantown that nobody want to go. Why build a 'BLACKS ONLY' cultural center in Corktown!
Yet another example [[along with the shameful headline to this thread) of "look what those crazy negroes down in the city want to do!" journalism, with some of that always dependable good ol' "black racism, look, black racism!" crap thrown in.It is absurd that this is being reported on. The only information about this scheme is on a poorly-written facebook page hails it as "savant grade" design, and an apparently now-defunct website.
Here are more nuggets of brilliance. Most of it is unintelligible when you get to the "information release":

So some goofball in NW Detroit thinks of himself as the next Donald Trump and makes a facebook page and it makes the news?
Then there is the additional fact that the idea itself is idiotic.
I'm going to start a company called Spacely Sprockets at the old Packard plant site. It will look really crazy, provide billions of jobs, and lift the spirits of the people. Where is my interview? More importantly, where is my money? I love Detroit, you see. Artist rendering: http://wizzard.com/bm2010/Images/med...ySprockets.jpg
Except that it's just some guy on the internet's already stillborn pipe dream, was nothing anyone was taking seriously [[or had even heard of) before this "story" was "reported", and wasn't racist in anything other than its conception as an African-themed retail complex, which makes it about as racist as, say, an Italian restaurant.
Goodness, the media around here sometimes drives me insane with its provoking idiocy.
This sounds exactly like another casino complex without having the casino to make money.
In other words, there's no way in the world this would work.
After looking at the FB page I also wonder how this made the news. It is clearly not something to be taken seriously.

Despite his self-professed love for the city, it looks like it began as "Urban Cafe Cleveland." Maybe once nobody would give him the time of day [[or money) there he decided to move his little show here.
It took me all of 3 minutes to research this garbage. Local news media: you suck.
