As crooked as the King and his Court Jesters are/were, Uncle Sam hasn't had a great track record with public corruption trials recently. Between hung juries, acquittals and convictions overturned on appeal, it makes you wonder about the system.

Are some laws just too complex for the average Joe to understand?

Race card played results in hung jury. And the Feds will bring them all back for a retrial. Keep in mind Kwame's political resurrection due to his performance at the Rosa Parks funeral and Gerald Evelyn's closing statement invoking ML King JR and calling for jury nullification via JFK's Profiles In Courage.

He may very well start out there but it will only be for orientation. Then he will be sent away and it will definately not be in the State of Michigan as Milan is the only FCI in the State of Michigan. If he is convicted of the things he has been charged with he will not qualify for Milan FCI.

Just because the trial is in Detroit does not mean the jurors are Detroiters. The pool for Federal jurors can come from anywhere in Southeastern Michigan. There will be jurors in many of the Southeastern Michigan cities who would love to see KMK rot in jail.

Yep. Well stated. Even for Wayne county court trials people forget that Wayne includes Livonia, part of Northville, and many downriver suburbs such as Lincoln Park, Dearborn, Allen Park, Westland, Canton etc.

By hearing the testimony of the offensive witnesses. Kwame was involved in all major crimes. He accepted bribes from various private contractors. Taking Detroit city taxpayers for the luxuries and accepted gifts without paying restitutions. Kwame was sneaky, but he didn't get away from the law.

The Jury only hear small details about Bernard's involvement in Detroit City Businesses.

Bobby was involved in accepting bribes. Making sure that other private businesses are kept out and his businesses kept in.

Victor was less involved in city businesses.

Umm...Victor Mercado pleaded guilty months ago. He's not in the trial anymore.

Yes. Once you leave the city limits, support for Kwame even in the Black community start to plummet. Not to mention that even in the city limits there are thousands of people who were ready to see Kwame go down in flames.

Of course, nothing is guaranteed with juries. But if I got a hung jury and I had infinite resources, I'd try the case 3 or 4 times. Remember that with the number of people in the eastern district of Michigan it's not that hard to seat a jury without a single Detroiter on it.

The jury pool for the Eastern District for trials in Detroit includes Sanilac, St. Clair, Macomb, Oakland, Jackson, Wastenaw, Wayne, Lenawee and Monroe Counties.

Errrr.... Mercado has already pled guilty guys. All three convicted on tax counts, KK and BF get hit on some of criminal enterprise counts. BK is 50-50 for the limited criminal enterprise counts he's facing. 14 years + for KK and BF. ? on BK. 40-60 % KK and BF flee to a country without an extradition treaty with the U.S.A. [[ wishful thinking, we wouldn't have to pay for room and board).

Riddle's the prime example, alright, but for another reason. In the retrial, Riddle realized that it was just a matter of time before he'd lose. Prosecutors offered a deal he couldn't turn down and he pleaded guilty.

They re-tried Riddle on a hung jury. They re-tried Blagojevich on a hung jury. They're gonna re-try Bobby Ferguson on a hung jury. You don't think they're gonna retry Kwame?

I think they'll try the case 5 times if they have to. The odds are against Kilpatrick with a jury pool that goes all the way up into Northern Michigan.

Through "fully voluntary" contributions by businessmen in Texas, Detroit, Chicago, New York, and DC, the resulting coalition gets several Senators elected including Kwame who eventually goes on to become President. In the third year of his Presidency, Carlita creates a scandal when she is accused of physically assaulting the wife of a European leader. The woman dies a few days later and the CIA denies any involvement, but the public outcry is loud. A federal commission lead by Special Investigator Sharon McPhail finds no wrong doing. In the fourth year, an audit of Fort Knox reveals it no longer holds any gold. Even though Fox News uncovers text messages between Kwame and Bobby stating, "Damn, we robbed Fort Knox, !@#$", Kwame denies any involvement and blames George Bush.

25th in the morning, assuming they don't deliberate on Saturday. If so, change that to the 23rd in the morning.
Guilty, & they will catch a guilty RICO verdict.
