Default Hoffa Buried in Northern Oakland County - Zerilli [Excavation Finds Nothing]

Now aging former Detroit mob capo Anthony Zerilli claims he knows where Hoffa is buried and is allegedly spilling the beans according to WDIV.

Zerilli has broken his silence and talked one-on-one with former Local 4 Defender Marc Santia.

Zerilli said he’s tired of people who don’t know anything about Hoffa’s disappearance writing books, making movies and making money off of it.

“All this speculation of where he is and where he’s not. They say he was in a meat grinder. It’s all baloney. What happened to Hoffa was very simple. He got picked up over there and buried,” Zerilli said.

Zerilli said he thinks Hoffa is buried in a now vacant lot in northern Oakland County -- Rochester.

Investigators said when Zerilli got out, he would have immediately been told what had happened to Hoffa.

“The master plan was, that I understood, was that they were going to put him in a shallow grave here. Then, they were going to take him from here to Rogers City upstate,” Zerilli said. “There was a hunting lodge and they were going to bury in a shallow grave then take him up there for final burial. Then, I understand, that it just fell through.”

Zerilli was in prison when Hoffa disappeared. He said he hopes to clear his name from having anything to do with Hoffa’s disappearance. Zerilli also denies being involved in the Mafia.

That metaphor should be mixed more thoroughly.

i think this is going to be a running gag vs the FBI.

every year some old mob-relative will call up the news or write it on a bathroom stall. 'hoffa is at 123 fake st'. . all we need now is to get geraldo to come to town to dig him up. every time. might be funny if it werent so tragic.

Well before you folks mock Zerilli too much... he WAS the head of the Detroit Mafia, and although incarcerated at the time of the murder... he would know a hell of a lot more about it than any mob hitman, bodyguard or chauffeur.....

Looks like he's destitute, and is promoting a book... and what better way than to actually lead people to the real body location...

Looked him up in the 1940 census. He was living with his family on Conner just south of E. Jefferson. He was 17 and working in a grocery store. Brother Joe Zerilli was a bartender. Big family. From the address transferred to Google street view, it's a vacant lot now. Gee, what a surprise!

Interesting quotes from the link Gistok shared.

I can't wait for the book AND the body to appear. If the latter does the book will be a block-buster, but I think Mr. Zerilli may have some questions asked by law enforcement.

Anthony J. Zerilli is represented exclusively by a manager, agent, and attorney. Mr. Zerilli will make no comments or statements to the media or others, without first going through the above individuals. Absolutely no law enforcement interviews will take place without Mr. Zerilli’s attorney present.
At 85 years old, Anthony J. Zerilli, son of the well-respected Sicilian-American Joseph Zerilli, has decided to come forward, and write his version of the truth of the disappearance of Jimmy Hoffa. Many have long speculated that Anthony J. Zerilli was the “boss” of the Detroit Mafia, and that he ordered the killing of Jimmy Hoffa. This is absolutely untrue, and Mr. Zerilli wants to clear his family name and let the world know the real truth…that he did not kill Hoffa or have him killed. Anthony J. Zerilli spent nearly seven years in Federal Prison for an extortion crime he did not commit. He kept his mouth shut and did his time. He ratted on no one. He is nobody’s stool pigeon. Never has been and never will be. But he must set the record straight and clear his family name. He has decided to do so by writing a book about his life.

In his book, Mr. Zerilli will discuss the inner workings and events of his very interesting life. He will explain the origins of the word “Mafia” and what it meant to the Sicilian people. He will tell about his life rubbing elbows with celebrities such as Dean Martin, Rocky Marciano, Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, Jimmy Durante, Frank Sinatra and many others, at the Las Vegas casinos that he owned. He will talk about his involvement in running the Hazel Park Racetrack in Detroit, and how other racetracks around the country followed his lead. He will discuss his lovely wife Rosalie and his relationship with her well-respected and well-known father from New York, the legendary Joe Profaci, who he describes as his own father’s twin.

Last but not least, Mr. Zerilli will describe his personal relationship with Jimmy Hoffa and he will tell the world what ACTUALLY happened to Hoffa! No other person of any significance knows any of the facts. Only two people who know the true facts firsthand are still alive. Mr. Zerilli is one of them, and he is the only one talking. He will discuss what he knows of the “original plan” to dispose of Hoffa, and how the events of Hoffa’s disappearance unfolded. This book will blow all other books and movies relating to the Hoffa disappearance out of the water. The time has finally come for the truth to be told, and Mr. Zerilli will be the only one to tell it.

Lowell... my late mother used to work [[as a domestic) for one of his cohorts mentioned in the Wiki article. I won't mention the late man's name because his widow is still alive, but mom always thought that if anyone would know the location of Hoffa.... it would be Zerilli, even if he wasn't implicated.

Does anyone else find it bizarre how Zerilli's lawyer is hovering over the scene, making statements and all? He seems almost gleefully assured this is it and that his client told ya so.

Should this pan out, it would big a publicity bonanza for Zerilli, his book and the appearances that would surely follow.
