You seemed to imply that a guy asking you for a ride at a gas station was an implication that crime was on the rise in Warren. Now your saying that's not the case. I guess you realized the error of your ways.

the context of the thread was discussing where the crime happens in Warren which is along the Van Dyke corridor. Never was it mentioned crime was on the rise. I live at 14 and Van Dyke and have never had crime issues.

I have lived at: 7 Mile/ Gratiot, Harper/Morang, Alter/ Jefferson, Harper Woods, and Hamtramck and never had crime issues. What's your point?

Interestingly, when I lived at 13 Mile and Van Dyke, many of my neighbors tires were stolen off their cars, many autos were stolen, and a few condos were broken into.

My point is, you're totaling fabricating things I supposedly said to make it seem like the neighborhood I live in is unsafe. Now you provide anecdotal evidence to support I'm guessing a claim that Warren has high crime? North Warren has a low crime rate. It's clear you have an axe to grind with Warren since you completely made up things I said. It's like this forum things if they bring down the suburbs to Detroit's level, it makes Detroit better. My question is, what point are you trying to make? Are you honestly trying to say that 7 and Gratiot is as safe as Warren?
