Sabina's is run by a lady directly from Poland. Also, her staff are directly from Poland as well. I know one of the cooks, who was the mother of another Polish dance group my son was in. Their stuff is pretty authentic. 3 Brothers that used to be in Warrendale, has moved to Plymouth. I've been there recently. I used to like them in Warrendale, but now they're only okay. However, they have good hearty bread & good dill pickle soup. They're also taking ordrers for Paczki Day.

Me either. I've never liked them. The only times I've been there are when accompanying someone else who likes them. I don't understand the attraction.

Last time I ate at Polonia, the side dish was canned corn. And the cabbage roll wasn't too hot either.

Had lunch at Sabina's today. Pierogis and potato pancakes were fantastic as usual. I'm still stuffed and might skip dinner.

They are all more than adequate for the price and they all serve the same fare. Try Krakus on J. Campau south of Dequindre or Wawel in the Polish American Cultural Center on 15 mile Road which is a tad more upscale.
