    Unfortunately, there are not specific guidelines for what can be called "organic" or "natural" foods. I think the broadest definitions include not using chemical pesticides and not having artificially produced additives. And even those are kind of vague..."artificial additive" isn't clearly defined. However, there's great variation in whether things like chemical fertilizers are used, industrialized equipment, or genetically modified crops. You have to investigate the companies themselves...because slapping "organic" on a product [[or store description) doesn't tell you anything about the DNA in the food.

    Not necessarily. Saying that any product that contains GMO ingredients are "equal" is like saying the interior of a BMW and a Kia are equal because they both use plastic.
