This design of this building has long been attributed to Louis O. Keil, and I was very surprised when I found the article in the Detroit Free Press this past week.

That was my mother-in-laws church. She was born and grew up in a home kitty corner from Roma Cafe. I believe it was torn down, along with entire neighborhoods, when the freeway was being built. The new church was built on metro parkway in Clinton Township. Absolutely, no comparison to the old. Thank you for sharing. I've never seen a photo of the original church.Designed by Harry J.
