Why doesn't anyone ever discuss the Grand River/Lahser development? Artist Village, Sweet Potato Sensations, Redford Theater and the new coffee shop are all cooler than any of the Corktown or Downtown developments.

So somebody creates a piece with some positive attributes and right away they are excluding 85% of the city? So where exactly is the division of propaganda located?

not so much a "division of propaganda" but the orchestrated tunnel vision of the dominant culture. similar thinking tends to cast victims of poverty as criminals.
