    Default Presidential Preference Quiz

"Answer the following questions and we'll match your results to the [[remaining) 2012 Presidential election candidates." 22 weighted questions.

This isn't going to change anyone's mind but there might be a small surprise or two regarding relative preferences. My results gave Romney and the Republican Party a higher percentage than I would have for instance but agreeing with Obama and the Democratic party about 40% of the time seemed about right.

Not to be shy; my scores:
    Paul 89, Romney 82, Gingrich 51, Obama 40
    Libertarian 85, Republican 72, Democratic 40, Green 30

edited to add the link [[thank you rb)

    Interesting oladub.

My results: Paul 94%, Romney 85%, Wrights 73%, Gary Johnson 73%
    Libertarian 88%, Repub 77%, Dem 47%, Green 23%

I was a bit surprised, because I put Ron Paul in the same loony category as H. Ross Perot - some good ideas in a very bad package.

The quiz is bunk.... My results have me voting for Romney, but I honestly could not do that even if I held my breath and wore a blindfold.

So, how come I never heard of Kent Mesplay before this test? He and Barack are just about tied for me, along with Fred Karger who I have heard of. I do not side with Mittens on any major issues [[but I already knew that).

I'm embarrassed to say since they threw Jimmy McMillan in the mix. But screw it:

    Obama 98%
    Mitt Romney 82%
    Fred Karger 75%
    Jimmy McMillan 64%

    Democrat 98%
    Republican 62%

Nothing there suprises me except for who is Fred Karger?

I'm aligned with Kent Mesplay even ahead of Obama. That was a shocker for me

I almost didn't take the test. I decided long ago to align my vote with Obama so haven't paid much attention to the political vitrole. Kent Mesplay came out 1st for me with Obama second. Embarrassed I have no clue who Kent Mesplay is.

Kent Mesplay is a Green Party presidential candidate.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kent_Mesplay

Presumably, you are more liberal than President Obama, particularly on green issues.

not hard to do, since Obama is very far from "liberal" anywhere else but the US. That's what happens when one party lets its extremists gain control. They'd call Reagan a liberal for wanting to raise Cap Gains to the same level as earned wages and granting amnesty to illegals. They'd call Ike and Nixon Socialists

Me too. And 77% with Obama. Of course, I don't know who made this quiz and what they are using to measure the various candidates' stances.

Maxx, I had to do it over to answer your question.
Economy 97%, Social Policy 94%, Domestic Policy 92% were the three categories above my 89/90% score for Paul. On Science and Environment, I scored higher with Obama than Paul although my total score for Obama was 40/24% the two times I took it. I was at 11% with Obama on economics. The three economic questions had to do with federal minimum wage, bank bailouts, and raising the debt ceiling. I voted no on all three and heavily weighted the last two.

It's too bad Obama ran unchallenged for the Democrat nomination,
    because his record is terrible!

NOT the right attitude to turn this country around:
Obama - 'If you’ve got a business -- you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen'

So you are blaming the drought that is going to cause higher grocery prices on Obama?

    How about this:
The republicans YET AGAIN block a bill to offer TAX CREDITS to companies expanding their US payroll, and YET AGAIN refuse to get rid of the tax credits for moving jobs overseas. Why was that NOT covered in the allegedly "liberal" press? If the press were indeed liberal, that would have been the above-the-fold headline all over the country, yet it barely got a mention
