When you see some jerk weaving in and out of rush hour traffic, then he goes onto the shoulder to get around people and you see him hit some kind of rod that looks to have punctured his oil pan.

How many times has someone done a similar thing, and you question if there is justice in the world.

Luckily for those like me, or at least the way I used to drive, it seldom catches up on the road...but I suspect it affects other things. Since I began behaving behind the wheel, I don't have weird car difficulties. Cars I've abused, all cost more money to maintain. [[surely some of it was the shock from bangin' 'em hard, but the failues were not often associated with the drivetrain!)

Kinda like how the darn things run better after you've cleaned 'em!

We just had a real gulley-washer here in Las Vegas yesterday. Street flooding was everywhere. And, as in Michigan, it was amusing to watch idiot drivers hit the water at 45 mph only to have their engines flame out. Interestingly, most of the ones I noted had California plates.

[[BTW, weather in Vegas is a good news/bad news thing. The good news is we only get three inches of rain a year. The bad news is it all comes on the same day.)
