    Clearly it seems that the state of Florida picks and chooses who it serves justice to...very often wrongly...

    Something like this just happened in Metro Detroit. It seems that the law punishes the victim if they don't kill their attacker.

    It's not about whether the attacker is killed or not, it's about society has its teacher's pets. The teacher's pet can never be wrong or do any bad, while all others are only worthy of scorn and disdain. Obviously Marissa Alexander and Trayvon Martin aren't teacher's pets.
