Be careful what you wish for, you may just get it. Matty was begging for this to happen.

    WRONG.

That's the taxpayer portion of the Gateway project that's ALREADY COMPLETED and has been FOR YEARS. The taxpayers invested all that money and we haven't been receiving the benefit of the project over the 16 Million dollar part that DIBC was supposed to complete.

MDOT has done more in one day than DIBC has done in over two years to complete this project.

Are there any contractual repercussions for the bridge company's non-compliance to the contract they signed?

Is it possible the state is just waiting for the projects completion before they lay the fines and penalties on?

Or will they get away unscathed and one up because they were able to build their duty-free store?

I don't even care so long as the [gerund form of a very naughty word] project gets finished.

I heard on the radio that demolition has started on Matty's bridge to nowhere because it was in the way of the freeway connection. Since the duty free and gas station are close by, its probably just a matter of time before those go.

Yep the Dukes of Hazard ramp started coming down at 9am Saturday. I was there with Rashida Tlaib and Urbanoutdoors plus a few other interested folk. Dan Stamper rolled up on our little group and looked green.

What a total WASTE of his dollars and our tax dollars! That brigde to nowhere was Marty MaROON's! proposed Ambassador Bridge expansion until it violated state required laws of the gateway projects. He eventually gobbled up all that vacant space west of the bridge to W. Grand Bvld. for a large concrete of nothingless. he should used the space to lure internation retail shopping oasis and mixed use residences. He shut down half of Riverside Park to protect his precious bridge from po-folks and terrorists. Hopefully the Ambassador Bridge is back to the way it was and finding other ways to reduce semi-truck congestion.
