Yeah but requiring surface parking for every business only encourages the corporate architects to take the lazy route and destroy the streetscape.

Nope, that tree you're talkin about is part of the city streetline trees. The landscaping is pretty nice, some type of flower vine..?...bush [[spruces)..? That is what it appears to be, not sure..but pretty descent. Can't wait til it opens, I live two blocks away. My soon to be lunch spot!
