Suburbanites have asked me more than once what the deal is with Pugh and his "propensity for going against the Mayor at every turn." I have no answer, only speculation.

I just hope he doesn't think he's going to run for Mayor.

Thank you. It's just as condescending as the uber-liberal types that go on with the he or she 'speaks so well...' which you heard referenced about Kilpatrick and president Obama.

Pugh does not qualify to be president of the council. I am glad that the rules had changed that the person with the most votes become president. However, if feel that the president for council position should have it's own ballot. The candidate who is running for the position has to caimpaign and participate in debates so that the people could decide who will make the best candidate.
