I guess it's too late but I'll throw in one more M: The Muppets. Hope I never forget the life-changing episode with Debbie Harry.

Labradorite. One of my favorites. Subtle gemstone for cabochons, yet available in many nice variants.

"N" is for Nephrite mainly just to get on to the much more interesting Opal.

I've been hooked on the videos from Black Opal Direct lately. I visited a local jeweler and nothing there could compare to Justin's black opals. Check out his discovery of a rare script pattern. It's like a credit card hologram only made by nature.

I'm also partial to green. My mom gave me a malachite ring about 30 years ago. The stone measures 1/2" set in 925 sterling. I just gave it to my daughter and I'm thinking I want it back....LOL.

It's such a pretty stone! You better start looking for it.

I personally don't believe the hype about gemstones, and fortunately neither does my spouse, but we enjoy pretty or otherwise interesting rocks, minerals, and fossils. I'd love one of those Michigan Greenstones. I can't believe I'd forgotten about them. Petoskey stones are cool too, and a nice reminder it was once under an ocean there.

Labradorite was a good choice. Great color and pattern variation, Spectrolite in particular.
Wow that Opal-- didn't know they could look like that.

    Let's keep this moving:
