How the city of Detroit is...
I believe that the best that Warren has to offer is a 3 Star Hotel.
Dan Gilbert is currently [by far] Michigan's richest billionaire, worth an estimated $22-$25 billion.
His 3 surviving sons and a daughter could one day inherit quite a lot, depending on many...

Very nice... downtown has never appeared so beautiful!! :o
I do believe that falls under the "urban legend" category...
I agree with that article that 313XY posted... from the very moment that the announcement came out that GM was moving their HQ to 2 stories of the Hudson's Block... it reeked to high heaven of the...
With the upcoming NFL Draft, the opening of Michigan Central, and the blossoming of the Detroit Lions, I thought it was of interest to share some background of our new and upcoming metro Detroit...
Something I never thought about... the 4 children of Edsel & Eleanor Ford [Edsel was Henry Ford's only child] all died 15-45 years ago, except for William Clay Ford Sr., who made it to 2014 before...
Anyone who says that the RenCen should come down to make the land available to the riverfront needs a reality check. Between the RenCen and Hart Plaza is that thingy we call the Detroit/Windsor...
Of course I am talking about William Clay Ford Jr. and his sister Sheila Firestone Ford Hamp, both billionaires in their own right.
William Clay Ford Jr. gets all the attention for the restoration...
^ LOL... what will they think up next "Crack Whore Brownies"?? :p
From what I heard, other signs are supposed to be smaller. Not sure if that means the same individual cement posts with a letter on each one, or something requiring only 1 base. One will be at...
Um.... am I missing something here? Or are those GM built parking structures also not free parking for the employees?

^ stasu1213... don't forget the Huntington Bank Tower...
Actually the 2 short [[22 story) towers are not owned by GM, and are leased up much better than the 39 story towers. :)
Ryan, I have always loved your photo skills!! My most memorable image that you had posted once was when the Broderick Tower was still an empty hulk, and you snuck up towards the top, and took a...
sirrealone... sorry for being snarky... had a cranky day today... but I don't think that location of employees matters as much anymore when it comes down to corporate performance.
stasu1213... I...
^Silly us... we didn't know that centralizing all staff in 1 location was the answer to the problem. Here we thought product and development were the key.
[Cough... Kmart & Troy]
From what I heard... the city and business people were doing everything that they could to keep WTVS in Detroit, but that the GM of Detroit PBS [his name was Antonini... or something like that], and...
^ Let's put this into context.... GM has 857 workers at the RenCen. GM has 21,000 employees working at the Warren Tech Center.
It's easy to put two and two together... they have been slowly...
They currently occupy 1 1/2 towers of the 4 tower RenCen. If they only take 2 floors of the Hudson's Block... then they are shipping 90% of their downtown employees out to Warren...
^Agree
Also, the 500 & 600 towers have a different owner than GM.
Also, I think that if Gilbert does get ownership, he should give Blue Cross one of the towers for their HQ... next to RenCen...
OK... came up with an idea... Gilbert buys it [[or is given it!)... but for bargaining chips...
Tell AAA Michigan... which used to be located in the United Artists Building until the early...
