The original thread read like a novel, with flashbacks going back in time. It was very exciting. It was an exciting moment when Larry showed up for the first time. :-)
The music was awesome. The video was awesome too. Definately not country. Very unique, sounds a bit like evolved Byrds.
Awesome music Larry. The newer stuff definately has a country flair!
Hi Larry, Give us a link to some of your new songs!
Fascinating! This is the first time I have seen many of those pictures.
It's a pretty quiet thread, but, unless something new happens, that tends to be sort of natural I guess.
Okay, well I appreciated the thought! Ha ha, you'll get more "usage" out of the Mackie speakers for your money. I would have loved jamming with you too!
Larry, I will private message you my phone numbers. Feel share them with any Garwood folk.
Hi Larry,
Yes, meeting ahead of time and working on a set list would be fun.
I cleaned up, simplified, and improved the song "Garwood Anthem". It is a simple blues I IV V with an alternating...
I'll be visiting with you guys too.
Ruth is amazing for the stuff she somehow manages to hold on to!
Sure, I'll bring the old guitar. And my trusty slide.
I'm looking forward to it!
Hi Everyone,
Margie & Micheal need our help. It is very serious. She has Stage IV cancer. There is a GoFundMe site set up to help her and Micheal. The link below describes what is going on...
It's great seeing the pictures, and listening to you guys chat again.

Hi Larry,
Of course, now you got me looking at double necks. Look at this strange one
...
Hi Larry,
Every once in a while I do think about building a double neck. For me it would be a short scale base and a 6 string.
I am teaching myself bass guitar right now. "Bass Guitar for...

The guitar looks beautiful Stnfrnt. Does it play well? Is the action good?
Happy New Year and Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!
Hi Larry,
The ending there is all new. I tacked a new "instruments stop playing one by one on it". Yes, that is the shoe on the garbage can beat.
Glad you liked the song. You be de master.
Well I finished the song. In the end I added a sort of fall apart ending to it.

I have faded a lot of songs in the past, but this one needs something else. And, ha ha, it does have a fall apart part, ... about a minute after I want it. But, I think I'll just have to record...
Okay, the current song is pretty much done, but the only problem is that I need to end it ... it goes on and on past where the end should be.
I use Cakewalk Sonar on a PC. My audio interface is an M Audio sound card. I only record one instrument at a time and layer them on.
It's nothing special, but it is fabulously more powerful...
