Happy Hour burger at Roast.
And I'll second the schawarma at Bucharest.
I parked directly across the street the first day....it was easy to find, etc. I was then seated on a jury, so learned of a few cheaper lots. Ended up in one farther south on Gratiot [[maybe at...
Union Street. From the menu: "Tender squid steak, julienne cut, milk marinated, dusted with seasoned flour, flash fried and finished with a lemon-wine burre blanc sauce , fresh basil, capers, red...
Being installed today. Window trims being painted. The house looks great.
The new menu is posted on their myspace page: http://www.myspace.com/woodbridgepub.
I was a bit bummed at the change, but the salmon burger was quite good, so I mostly got over it.
Hamilton is my daily commute. I've thought many times that a photo essay of the street would be interesting. Some buildings that retain signs of their former lives, painted walls and signs...
I bought some nice tea towels there - holiday gift. I didn't ask, but wonder if they plan to increase inventory. I liked the skyline tie they have.
Traffic Jam just did a nice birthday party for me....appetizers and our own server in their private room. Seats about 30, IIRC. Reasonable price and very easy to work with.

I'll second that one...the new location [[where Twingo's used to be) is great for dim sum. I'll be back, for sure.
I used to live in a house on Grayton that was on the home tour....it was a *great* house and we had great times in it. I hope it finds a new owner soon. Maybe you're that person!
I was able to dine out twice: Cuisine and Saltwater. The meal at Cuisine had high and medium [[as opposed to low) points. The short ribs were divine, as was the carrot puree that came with it [[and I...
I'm doing Cuisine on Thursday and Saltwater on Friday. Where have you been??
I hope it gets folks out to check out places they might not have otherwise.
I go every week. Great stuff, good prices, local. I hope to catch the demonstration on Wednesday.
My favorite NYC day is: walk, brunch, shop, walk, sit in park, drink, people-watch, cocktail, snack, walk, chat people up, dinner....
Agreed on the rooftop at the Met. The Met is awesome, but...
This is pretty cool...and I wondered about the entrance to the deck being through the Stick. Can't wait for it to warm up so that I can have a sip and snack on that deck!
Cadieux Cafe
