Amen!
The Supreme Court as well.
"illegal to divert"
Now, that is funny.
Ask KK& Company about that.
It's a good thing you weren't going for an English degree.
I went to Parker 1942-50. It closed last year [[for the second time, I heard). No more than two weeks ago, a fire started there, but was put out promptly so the school is still standing.
The director gets nearly 1/2 million dollars a year. That's corruption or robbery, if you will.
Did they slash the director's salary?
Get rid of the corruption in that city, then maybe we will talk.
Humor lives...hahahahahahahaha ;^D
I would hope Mike Duggan wouldn't get elected.
You think Detroit has problems now....
"The only politicians who are against the bridge are those who are ideologically against government spending at all, unless it's either medicare, social security, or military."
This is off topic,...
"The bridge will be paid for by a Canadian loan. The loan will be repaid via future tolls. That means it will cost us zero tax dollars."
That's all I need to know.
"You've been watching too much TV and have done too little reading."
No need to get nasty. How would you know what I have been doing?
I am entitled to my opinion just as you are.
That money...
Let Snyder buy the Amabassador bridge, with his millions, then put his name on on it. Problem solved.
I visited NYC, the only time ever in 2010, and loved every minute of it.
I went swimming there many times. It wasn't Brennen pools at the time. Just called Rouge pools.
It was the end of the Detroit bus route.
I lived in the Plymouth/Schaefer area.
Many happy hours ice skating in Rouge Park in the 1950's.
I am 75 years old now, but I still have my 61 year old figure skates in my garage, just in case ;)
They are Pewabic tiles.
They are still there because you would need a crane to remove them.
Thieves don't rent cranes.
"Bartock- don't know how I would feel if most of the neighborhood I grew up in and had all my fond memories of became blighted and burnt out, but I'm guessing that I wouldn't want to go back there,...
Justice, my foot. She should go to jail for shooting at police, period
Are you sure there was only coffee in that cup ;)
The city owns most of them. What's the problem?
Why aren't Detroiters outraged?
Why wasn't that money used to tear down abandoned/burned out houses?
People live in those neighborhoods, and fear every day/night of their lives.
Totally agree.
Welfare and unemployment are not the same, just as Medicare and Medicaid are not the same.
Medicare and unemployment are paid for by the people getting it.
That would be cruel and unusual punishment.
Why?
Detroit could use Spiderman and Batman about now.
