That's ok, though. Zimmerman and his wife and his parents have bungled up their integrity, they have imploded on their credibility, and have botched just about everything they have got involved in regarding this whole case.

This should have never been a political football. It is a right versus wrong issue, not a Right versus Left issue. If Zimmerman is found guilty, it's all on him.
I don't think this situation was the right one to put gun rights, race issues, and self defense rights in the middle of.
Zimmerman is turning out NOT to be a very good spokesman for any of those causes.

Not sure how this case is going to pan out. Both of these guys were in the wrong. This case is weird. TO be quite honest, we as the American public have to be smarter than the Politicians, the Left and Right wing $hiT-stirrers, and the Media [[I know that's asking A LOT). They stir all this turmoil and controversy up, trying to get the Left & Right bases frenzied and angry, and society suffers. We are never going to be a post-racism society as long as people dig up Paula Deen stories from 27 years ago, and every time a crime happens we jump right to skin color. These things DIVIDE the races, they don't help unite them.
This is a case of 2 minorities who got in a fight and it ended tragically. Zimmerman should never have pursued him.
Whatever the jury decides, so be it.
We can only hope that our corrupt Justice system has some jurors who make the best possible decision they can based on what they are presented in the trial.

When and only when Martin sees that Zimmerman has a gun, Martin goes for it and says "your going to die tonight." IMO lethal force is the issue here. Had Zimmerman remained in his vehicle and not pursued as he agreed to do from the phone call recordings, this would not have happened. But then there are details we will never know, with lots of heat and noise and disparaging on both sides.

The pictures above show that Zimmerman was definitely injured and bleeding. When you're getting your ass kicked you don't have the luxury of calling for a timeout to check on the severity your injuries. This entire event probably transpired in just a few minutes.
Another theory about that bloody nose photo is that it was caused by the gun's recoil while being fired at a proximity too near for Zimmerman to have locked his elbows. If they were already physically engaged, it would have been very difficult for Zimmerman to have fired the gun at arm's length.Quote:

Had Zimmerman been white, they both would STILL be in the media during the entire trial, and inciting riots if Zimmerman got off.
My take on this whole thing is let the Jury decide, not the media. You have to have some faith in the justice system. This was an altercation between 2 people that should have never happened. Sadly it did and one person lost his life. The fact it was between two minorities should not make a difference, but it does in modern America to those who make a living off dividing people by skin color.
If Zimmerman is guilty of manslaughter, so be it.
Whether Trayvon Martin started hitting Zimmerman is a moot point. put yourself in his place: you are going home - a fact which any reasonable person must a gree that he had the right to do. some big guy you don't know is following you. What would you do? did Martin have the right to defend himself against someone he reasonably felt was stalking him [[because Zimmerman WAS stalking him)? Can Zimmerman really claim self defense when HIS actions caused Martin to feel he had to defend himself?Quote:

Because of the stand your ground law and the way its written and applied in Florida and also because there were no witnesses to what Zimmerman did, I would not be surprised if he got off. The Tampa Bay Times did an analysis of the stand your ground law across the state and it was very telling. 70% have gone free when invoking that law. Defendants are more likely to prevail if the victim is black.
