Warren Evans on Devin Scillion's Flashpoint - 3/10/24

I was happy to see Devin had Warren Evans on for an interview. I read Warren's opinion piece and came to the same conclusion Devin did: Why is he voting uncommitted in the Democratic primary? What are the issues holding him back? He really didn't articulate ANYTHING!

On Flashpoint Devin asked at least twice, maybe three times, what issues he has? Evan's couldn't even answer. A pretty roundabout, vague, generalized answer was that "we want to be more at the table developing policy." Over what? No answer. Uber vague!

Did I miss something? It seems like everyone wants to hold Biden hostage to "let me have more influence than the other issue-group" Or is this maybe a play in wanting to be a baller with the Whitehouse like Duggan, to maybe make a play for mayor of Detroit??? It came across as: I just want someone to kiss my ass too!

Hard to figure Evans out.

I know one thing for sure, not getting democrats to vote for Biden because you can't please them 100% will lead to another Trump presidency.

I agree, you have to admit. Republicans tend to keep their eye on the prize when actually voting., much better strategist .even if they have issues, or not really approving of their candidate, they will still vote for their nominee when it comes down to it, democrats like to fracture on their own self interests, not the big picture .. I hope they get this in November or they will be crying in their soup and have no one to blame but themselves, holding Biden always responsible for the Hamas/Israel war is crazy, he didnt start the October 7th latest round , you know who did, and they knew very well who was going to retaliate big time and they did..Biden can't control either side despite their efforts.....Trump said last week that "Israel needs to get the job done"..so protestors better brace themselves if they do not like it now. I do not care for the physical attacks on Jewish or Muslim students in colleges going on either, this smacks big time of Germany 1940.. . and you know what else Trump will be acting on, same as last time but much more severe, so depending on your preferences...pic your poison. A third party or write in vote is by most analysis a vote favoring Trump, no matter how you want to paint it.. so some are fine with that too, you get who you get...should be interesting.

Watch the interviews of protesters- From the river to the sea - they were asked what river to what sea ? They did not know.

We see a lot of politicians who wish for people to blindly follow them and agree with everything they say or do,just as we see a lot do exactly that.

There are always ebbs and tides but long term it always finds its equilibrium.

People get confused when voting for a president,you are not actually casting a vote for a president,the voters do not directly elect a president.

The voters choose electors who later meet to choose a president.

So to say you are casting a vote for Trump or Biden to make them your president,you are not.

Just as you are not casting a vote when you place a vote for non commitment or non existing 3rd party,you are not really doing anything other then appeasing your own personal feelings because it has zero to do with anything and make zero impact on anything.

We are a constitutional republic,we are not a democracy.

The only time we practice democracy is in local elections,where 1 vote counts as 1 vote,that where your actual voice is heard by design,where it really matters.

The constitution was about giving the voice to the people where it matters and not allowing a president to become a king,a president actually has limited powers and is supposed to be more concerned about international affairs verses local.

The problem is all of this is most do not have a clue about how it all works,politicians are exploiting that and manipulating the population into what amounts to a crap show.

There is a reason they stopped educating students on civics.

If you think you are casting a vote for a president or you believe the phase - They are destroying democracy in America,then it is time to use the internet and learn how it all actually works.

The federal government is not there to tell you how to wipe your butt,it’s not their job,you vote for representation as the people separately in each state,if you want to regulate how people wipe there butts in your state then you vote for legislation to pass that dictates how you wipe your butt.

That is your voice and how the system was set up so you as an individual can be heard.

We do not have a voice on the federal level,it was never intended to be that way,each state sends a representative to the federal level but they are not representing individuals,they are representing the states best interests.

We can not blame any president for the messes that are created,most of the stuff they do not have to power to do anything about it,they are not supposed to.

If you are looking for somebody to blame,it’s the American public that is getting involved in a system that they do not even understand how it works and expecting whatever results that only a king can produce.

Until people stop treating these politicians like they are their leaders,kings and boss and start treating them like who they are supposed to be,your representatives that work for you,it’s true we get what we ask for.

Vote uncommitted- that’s has to be the dumbest crap anybody ever invented in the political arena,your vote does not even count,all it is doing is taking a survey of how many people do not have a clue and will be easy to exploit in the future as targets.

Who made a difference in Detroit ?

It was not a president,it was the system working by design,the people at that level voted where they had the power - 1 vote - 1 voice - the constitution was set up to give the power to the people locally so each city and state who are beholden to the people could tailor each city and state to those citizens.

The commies and socialist want you to believe the federal government is your all powerful master,the only way they can achieve that is by removing your voice from the equation and by default crowning a king.

The only time you are going to lose your voice,is when you choose not to use it,the constitution does not say you cannot have a majority dem or Repub city or state ,it says the majority has to agree to be that way - through 1 vote 1 voice and that’s where it ends.

It does not transfer to the federal level because that’s where you lose your 1 vote 1 voice and the constitution was about giving the power to the people to decide and not a king.

So stop expecting any president to make your life better on a local level or state level,it’s not their job,it is your job.

Your state is not beholden to the federal government,it is beholden to you and the federal government cannot impose its will on your state unless you invite them in,which at that point you have chosen to give up your voice through 1 vote 1 voice and choosing to be dictated to by a king.

It getting worse as time goes on because as we see,unless it is spelled out to the people in 3 lines or less they will never take the time to actually learn the system and how to use it to their benefit as it was designed.

So by default you are creating your own turmoil and then trying to blame on who you think you appointed king or did not.

The thing to remember the most - 75% of what politicians promised you,they do not have the power to do.

Why ? Because they are not you and the system was set up to give the power of change to you or we the people amd we have not agreed that they can even do that yet.

So they are saying that in order to plant that seed in your mind so when they take office,they have already chosen your path.

That is not how it works,they do not choose our path ,we do - remember that.

We allow the politicians to play us with the divide and conquer game.

An example is with the civil rights movement it was one of the biggest fabricated divide and conquer schemes devised in 200 years.

The constitution says that every American citizen is to be treated equally it does not single anybody out over race,color or creed.

So nobody had to fight for the right to sit at the front of the bus or fight for the right to drink from a drinking fountain,they did not have to fight for any of those rights because they already had them

Burning cities,riots,marches all of that by design was to divide people into camps and unnecessary.

All that was needed was a good constitutional lawyer,because the rule of law was already on their side.

Well said. Like the old saying, It was so cold outside today, I saw a politician with their hands in their own pockets instead of someone else's.
