Famous Detroit Pimp

Just finished reading a first printing [[1973) of Stonewall [[Stoney) Jacksons autobiography.In the pulp paperback Stonewall writes about his entry into crime and his early exploits on and around Hastings street. He wrote using the slang of the day, some of which is still with us today. As a juvenile he did a stint at Moore school for delinquents on Alger near Oakland.He did time in Jackson, and upon release moved to Ohio then the big Apple, where he hustled and pimped. The book is a must read for Detroitophiles......:cool:
