I've been going to auditions for years in the hopes of getting on. Got close a couple times, but I think this'll finally be the one!
As an aside, where would be a good, safe, inexpensive place to stay around that area? Or would I have to go all the way out to the suburbs for that?
Try Robert's Riverwalk Hotel. I never stayed there, but did talk to a few out-of-towners that said they always come back. You literally can walk to Chene Park.

Ha ha - I actually considered staying at that place when I booked a weekend visit to Detroit. I knew nothing about it - I just saw it on Google Maps and liked its proximity to Eastern Market.Quote:
