Club Six Pence

My family lived next door to the Club Six Pence on Trumbull Street and Ash in the mid 1950's. There was dinner and dancing and I remember a closed bowling alley on the second floor. I've been unable to find any info about it - especially when it closed. Does anyone remember it?

Let this thread hang here for a bit. We've got a small handful of folks who may remember the joint. One of them is a guy who I can contact independent of this forum.
