Chinese investors bought my house I just moved out of last December near Fenkell and Schaffer. The real estate agent is now the property manager. They moved a renter in pretty quickly....
I've been hearing stories about investors from Singapore buying single family houses for up to 25k in the city. I'm hearing they make necessary repairs and get tenants in. Maybe it's not an urban legend.............

One guy "knows" of one instance, and one guy's "heard" of all these investors. I guess the NPR story WAS false, then.
I guess it was too, I talked to another guy who sold his apartment building on Whittier to an investor from Finland. Didn't ask any of the particulars, don't know how he marketed the property.Quote:
