Has anyone else noticed that the grass and shrubs near the corner of 3rd and Bagley have all been spray painted green? It's not too obvious until you see the paint they managed to get al over the sidewalk as well. Or is this some kind of insecticide or plant nutrient that I'm mistaking for paint?
i noticed it at a nearby car dealership recently too.
Sometimes when they seed an area, they'll paint it green so that the birds won't spot the seeds and eat them. Or at least that's what I heard a while ago.

Oh, and some antibacterial on that cut will help prevent infection.

Seems a little early yet, but it could be hydroseed. The fertilizer/mulch base they use is often dyed green.
I know it's spring when the car dealers on Gratiot have their lawns spray painted green!
Did anyone notice the basketball 'statue' in that area where MGM has their seasonal displays? Would that explain the green? MSU green, perhaps?
