After thinking a little about it, I was in class of 61. Getting OLD. :)
I'll stretch this one a little and say that I also went to Cody - took drivers ed there in the summer of 76, driving a Dodge Dart [[I think?) on that tiny little track they had. And my dad threatened to send me to Cooley if I go into any more trouble, after I got into a bit of herbal trouble my freshman year at Saint Marys in 75 and was suspended for three days.
This could be a whole new thread. I took drivers training at Denby in the spring of '73. SMRJim, same thing, a little oval track. I still remember the teacher. Mr. Harms.

It was my high school boyfriend's dad, that's all. I just wondered what he was like as a teacher/admin.

Lincoln Park High. January 68. Home of the Railsplitters. The only benefit I got out of that place was meeting my wife of 37 years. :D
I was not the best student. But my so called counselor advised me to quote "Stop wasting our time and the taxpayers money, quit, and go into the military." I told him to shove his advice and left. I went back to class and did what it took to graduate. The extra 1/2 semester I had to attend is where I met my future wife. I have no complaints about that. But the lesson about not taking anyones advice, just because they are in a position of power stuck with me. No bitterness, just think things through.
