The fairly new website Detroit Coupons and Deals (http://www.detroitcouponsanddeals.com/)offers deals each day to save money both in Detroit and online. You can sign up to get an email (http://www.detroitcouponsanddeals.com/email)everyday with the deals so you don't have to go to website each day if you don't have time.
As a someone who lives in Detroit and is author of the website, I certainly feel the crunch of the economy. :(
