Now, that everyone knows who the F**k she is, she wants to keep a low profile.

Unfortunately, no....

I suspect she will fade off into local history. Ten years from now if you mention her name, most people will respond, "Who?"

Kwame will likely still be well known. Like OJ, I suspect he'll do something dumb again in the years ahead.

:(

Fortunately, no. Worthy showed that no one was above the law and kept her from returning to power. She's done her time. As long as she stays out of power, let her move on.

I don't think it will be that simple. While Kwame was in jail and she was awaiting her turn, she was seen out at a bar with Ferguson. I bet we hear her name again when the FBI decides to pounce on everyone involved in the City's former crockit government.

She was on the train at the Detroit Zoo with her kids the other day.....a friend of mine was on the same train. Saw her get into her Land Rover in the parking lot. I guess life is good for Christine, even with the heavy debt she's in.

ccbatson
May-06-09, 08:26 PM
What she did was pretty bad...conspiring and acting to have people fired for the purposes of her own gain. That said, she has paid, and will be paying, her debt, so......

I have no sympathy for her, she made her bed, now she must lie in it.

Thank you Blarf for providing me with the best laugh of the day, in fact I might have peed myself.

Oh please! Christine Beatty has paid her debt to society and I truly hope she moves on with her life and is able to be successful in whatever she decides to do. She should be forgiven but let’s not forget. She was sleeping with a married man, while plotting to destroy the careers and families of two of Detroit’s finest and spent desperately needed city dollars to cover it up when she got caught. I think it’s karma that she should be the butt of mean jokes until the day she’s put out to pasture.

She is trash dressed in expensive clothes and handbags, driving a luxury vehicle, all while professing to be broke, whomever feel sympathy for her could be taken for the Kilpatrick/Beatty ride all over again. That team robbed the city blind and are still living high off the hog as a result of it. She is a big joke and I will keep laughing until I forget about her. :p

May-07-09, 09:40 AM
Christine is sorry for what she did. It would be wonderful if everyone would forgive her and move on.

Sorry for getting caught. Keep in mind that she was planning to be Mrs. Kilpatrick. Nevertheless, its not up to any of us to forgive her, maybe forget, but that while happen after we finish laughing:D

Ejames, you are a bigger man than me I guess. I forgive here, but I am also a Detroit resident, and tax payer so I figure if I can have a good laugh I have paid, and will continue to pay for it. And let's be real, Blarf's joke was funny.

Me suspects she got off far lighter than if you or I commited such crimes.

I think most doing what she did don't get caught.

mjs
May-07-09, 08:12 PM
Doing what? Abusing her position to threaten subordinates to threaten their subordinates for doing their jobs? Sleeping with her boss? Firing the guy who suspected it? Losing a lawsuit when it occurs? Getting caught in a perjury charge when there's documents to prove her perjury? Daring authorities to come after her by acting insulted and rolling her eyes as she repeats her perjury? Or making it outrageously expensive by dragging it out as long as possible after being caught with her hand in the cookie jar?

She can tell them that I made horrible mistakes and paid dearly for them.

She wasn't even sorry when she was caught. She was prancing around WSU same as always, with her chin up in the air. Only time she SEEMED to be sorry was when she was being convicted.... and maybe then she was only sorry that she was caught.

ejames01......are you sure you're not thug KK? Maybe Beatty will be on top very soon, but it certainly won't be in Detroit politics....maybe on top of thug KK after Carlita sets herself up financially and kicks the bum out....then the two losers can have each other.....they deserve each other.

No question about it, she will be on top, on her back, or on her knees. Thats how she
climbs the corporate ladder. Yeah we know who the f*&% she really is.:eek::eek:

Ejames is probally a Kilpartrick. If not Ejames is someone whom was profitting from all the corruption. Christine is a long way from being back on top. She is the bottom of the bucket and no good will come to her for all the dirt she has done. If nothing else it is showing by way of that baggage under her eyes.

Ejames, you have been strangely silent since being accused of being Christine Beatty, I'm stating to wonder... Let's see if an apple will lore her out.

I'm iseries840 from the old forum. It just hurts my heart to read all these hateful statements about Christine Beatty.

exdetroiter
May-10-09, 09:31 AM
The comments are not hateful. The comments are people venting our feelings about people whoms behavior have had an effect on all of Detroit Citizens be that directly or indirectly. I have a big problem with her actions causing additional financial hardships. Don't forget about the legal settlement the cops received whom she asked "Do you know who the fuck I am". Those two one a settlement as a result of her actions on that traffic stop, plus the major settlement after the trial for the other two cops whom were fired. Plus I have a problem with her as a woman, taking every effort to take another womans husband. I have a problem with her hurting the man whom did take a vowel of marriage. He's damaged goods now due to her horrish antics, the poor man had all his personal lifes hurts and betrayal printed in the press (via her text messages). Their were so many people hurt from her selfish antics. She should leave the state if she wants to be forgotten or start a new life.

Why should I hate her?

Ok, so why do you care what happens to Christine Beatty? What's your connection?

ejames01
May-11-09, 11:41 AM
I agree with you, but none of that is any reason to hate her.

Do you live or work in Detroit? Do you pay taxes? Can you think of a good way that Detroit could have better spent a couple million wasted dollars on issues that you care about? Do you support the Detroit Police and think they should be allowed to do their jobs without political appointees threatening to fire them to cover their own dailiances?

ejames01
May-11-09, 03:57 PM
That was a joke. I just knew it would push some buttons.

Maybe not, but it is also not a reason to wish her back on top any time soon or to "kneel at her alter and beg for forgiveness" either. She should be treated like any other non-celebrity ex-con would be.

Stealing the opportunity for 2 (or more) police officers in good standing to make a living is pretty despicable. But, fortunately, she and Kwame didn't get away with it...at least not entirely.

ccbatson
May-12-09, 03:54 PM
Without naming names...I know for a fact that at least one of those police officers is more than a bit disgruntled with this thoughtless crime coming from her.
