Judge sides with council on Cobo deal


A judge has blocked a regional authority for Cobo Center, ruling that Detroit Mayor Ken Cockrel Jr. had no right to veto the City Council’s nullification of a state law creating the authority.

No surprise here. Cobo is just one more building that will be abandoned soon and left rotting for 10 - 20 years before being torn down. Obviously, someone has Moncon in their back pocket.
