Hey, would anyone out there know if there any ineresting building supply resources for restoring a mid-century modern home in Detroit?

Looking for circa 1950's bathroom fixtures, a source for new/old stock 4x4 bathroom wall tiles, blonde doors with square windows in them, multi-color slate flooring, a great source for ledgerstone for exterior planter boxes, modernist looking wood garage doors, and possibly a source for decorative cinder block.

Any help would be appreciated!

Try visiting Xavier's at 2546 Michigan Ave. http://www.x20th.com/ Mostly mid-century furnishings, possibly some fixtures. He might know where to find other stuff.

Architectural Salvage Warehouse in Woodbridge is a great place, there's also another antique/salvage place at Grand River and 75 (NW corner, across from Cass Tech) with a lot of goodies. Also, try the antique shops on Mack between Outer Drive and Alter (across the street from Grosse Pointe Farms) for funiture and lighting. Good Luck!
