Roy continues to be a bust for the Cowboy.


Receiver Roy Williams injured his left shoulder on a goal-line collision with cornerback Orlando Scandrick. Williams was down for longer than normal, then was examined by athletic trainers and shouted in anger as he headed into the locker room before the workout ended.

Lets all just be thankful he is no longer a Lion. He was a distraction and not a team player.

He was probably one of the best assets that the sorry team had. Of course the media is going to flock to him because of his skills. But how was he a distraction?

One of the best assets on the team? One of the most talented players for sure, but if anything, he was a negative asset at the end. Arguing with other players and coaches on the sidelines, taking plays off, openly showing his displeasure with teammates when on the field and second guessing other players through the media. Not saying he should have been happy with the way things were, but he clearly was not a team player in the way he expressed his displeasures. He was a cancer on the team before he left.

I am of the opinion that the Lions inept coaching staff was the true cancer on last years team. It's kinda hard to go out and give your all when as a player you are down by 21 points in the first 6 min.'s of a game and know that a scheme will not work. Think about it, you train all year and put your body at risk and your couching staff has no clue how to use your skills and in addition you know you're going to loose. Jon Kitna was the first to rebel against the coaching staff and in truth I saw his rebellion as a sign of leadership. Somebody had to try to get those clowns to understand that their scheme was flawed. I don't fault Roy Williams or anyone else for calling out the truth. I wish Roy and Jon well and hope they have great seasons.
