The

Belle
Isle Stables
Belle
Isle Park is one of the crown jewels of Detroit. Lying
in the waters between Detroit and Windsor, it has been a source
of entertainment and relaxation for generations of Detroiters.
Horseback
riding was one of those activities and an attempt to revive
the activity occurred in the eighties when the Belle Isle
stables were revived. However, the enterprise failed
and the stables were abandoned and soon ravaged.
